State child support agencies are a crock. I had to go downtown to get my child support order so I could sign up for Support Kids. Well the lady looking through the files was flipping bench warrant after bench warrant. There was at least 15 that I counted. Is that all they can do is send a stupid piece of paper in the mail where they THINK they live? Oh yeah and when I call the child support agency and tell them I haven't received anything in 4 years, they say "well all we can do is send a work order form" They give the deadbeat 30 days to find a job and prove that he has one and send in some paperwork. Well I have called a few dozen times in the last few years and still nothing. So what else can we do? I hope this Support Kids can do something about it.

That's really useful information, if I only knew this stuff when I was fighting dear old dad for back support a while ago. I do want to add one thing my ex at that time was working under the table and he just claimed he wasn't working so they only enforced the minimum order of support. He was also served with, shoot it slips me now but basically it was an order to get a job. Even though I said he works he's just being paid under the table they basically told me to prove it.
